FEW WORDS ABOUT US

Look How Far We Have Come

It seems like it was yesterday when someone was diagnosed with cancer was staring down a death sentence. The days in which treating the disease was almost as deadly as having the disease itself was not that long ago.

Fortunately, as of today, the majority of cancers can be detected early and treated more precisely allowing for longer survival rates. In some cases, disease states are treated much like chronic diseases. In these situations, the likelihood of you passing from something else is greater than that of the disease itself. All this progress and yet we still have one burdensome hurdle to conquer…the mental health of a patient.

OUR MISSION

At Clear Oncology we believe treating the mental health of the cancer patient is just as important as treating their diagnosis.

OUR VISION

Closing the cancer patients’ mental health gap through innovation thus elevating their ability to fight their disease from diagnosis through survivorship.

OUR VALUE

Helping patients identify and assess their mental health throughout their cancer journey, while elevating their ability to fight their disease from diagnosis.
FUTURE OF ONCOLOGY CARE

Setting A New Standard

In 2023 in the U.S. there will be an estimated 2 Million new cancer cases.

The value of integrated mental health care for improving both access to care and clinical outcomes has become a vital piece to be addressed as early as possible in a patient’s care plan. In most cases, symptoms are not always obvious. A patient who is upbeat and positive may fall apart once they are alone, or a patient who is determined to beat their cancer can slowly worsen over time, becoming hopeless or overwhelmed.

We have developed programs to bridge this gap with a clear understanding that it will require navigating the known barriers to integration including financial (insurance and reimbursement), staffing resources, and administrative challenges.
